iti105:2.1“Mendicants, there are four things that give rise to craving in a mendicant.

iti105:2.2What four?

iti105:2.3For the sake of robes,

iti105:2.4almsfood,

iti105:2.5lodgings,

iti105:2.6or rebirth in this or that state.

iti105:2.7These are the four things that give rise to craving in a mendicant.”

iti105:2.8The Buddha spoke this matter.

iti105:2.9On this it is said:

iti105:4.2that craving is the cause of suffering—

iti105:4.3rid of craving, free of grasping,

iti105:4.4a mendicant would wander mindful.”
