iti63:0.1So It Was Said 63

iti63:0.2The Book of the Threes

iti63:0.3Chapter Two

iti63:0.4Periods

iti63:1.1This was said by the Buddha, the Perfected One: that is what I heard.

iti63:2.1“Mendicants, there are these three periods.

iti63:2.2What three?

iti63:2.3Past, future, and present.

iti63:2.4These are the three periods.”

iti63:2.5The Buddha spoke this matter.

iti63:2.6On this it is said:

iti63:3.1“Sentient beings who perceive the communicable,

iti63:3.2become established in the communicable.

iti63:3.3Not understanding the communicable,

iti63:3.4they fall under the yoke of Death.

iti63:4.1But having fully understood the communicable,

iti63:4.2they don’t conceive a communicator,

iti63:4.3as they’ve touched liberation with their mind,

iti63:4.4the supreme state of peace.

iti63:5.1Accomplished in the communicable,

iti63:5.2peaceful, in love with the state of peace;

iti63:5.3one who makes use after appraisal, firm in principle,

iti63:5.4a knowledge master cannot be reckoned.”

iti63:6.1This too is a matter that was spoken by the Blessed One: that is what I heard.
