iti32:1.1This was said by the Buddha, the Perfected One: that is what I heard.
iti32:2.1“Mendicants, an individual with two qualities is placed in hell as if delivered there.
iti32:2.2What two?
iti32:2.3Bad conduct and bad view.
iti32:2.4An individual with these two qualities is placed in hell as if delivered there.”
iti32:2.5The Buddha spoke this matter.
iti32:2.6On this it is said:
iti32:3.1“If a person possesses
iti32:3.2these two qualities—
iti32:3.3bad conduct
iti32:3.4and bad views—
iti32:3.5when their body breaks up, that witless person
iti32:3.6is reborn in hell.”
iti32:4.1This too is a matter that was spoken by the Blessed One: that is what I heard.
